The long wait is over! jProfessionals is back this autumn with another portion of code and fun.
In the first two editions of this event we wanted to provide the opportunity to inexperienced speakers to be on the same stage with more seasoned ones, like Kohsuke Kawaguchi, Svetlin Nakov, Daniel Bryant and Richard Warburton. This time we have a special surprise for you. The one and only Venkat Subramaniam is coming to Bulgaria to share his vast knowledge in the very special jProfessionals: Java Day with Venkat.
Dr. Venkat Subramaniam is an award-winning author, founder of Agile Developer, Inc., creator of agilelearner.com, and an instructional professor at the University of Houston. He has trained and mentored thousands of software developers in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and is a regularly-invited speaker at several international conferences and a committee member of the JavaOne conference. Venkat helps his clients effectively apply and succeed with sustainable agile practices on their software projects. Venkat is a (co)author of multiple technical books, including the 2007 Jolt Productivity award winning book Practices of an Agile Developer. You can find a list of his books at agiledeveloper.com. You can reach him on twitter at @venkat_s.
Join us on 08.10 (Saturday) in Capital Fort* hall New-York for a day full of hacking served with Venkat’s inexhaustible energy and sense of humor. We’ll start with a couple of lectures in the morning, then we’ll continue with two hack sessions in the afternoon and as always we’ll end everything with networking.
